Feasibility is a backward-looking approach that seeks historical precendence for the progress. By adjusting the criteria below, you further refine the set of comparable peers to the set of benchmarkable peers. These are peers that at some point in their history have had a similar value as the most recent value of the target country.

Ambitiousness is a forward-looking approach that extrapolates recent trends of the indicator in the target country. This business-as-usual scenario describes how the indicator is likely to develop if nothing else changes. That is, the policy environment remains the same and relevant factors do not experience any significant changes.
